No I wasn't thinking about the hyudoros, I was just remembering how the ghosts in pumpkin hill at sunset weren't present in the same mountains during the day (sky rail). Also because the way to defeat king boom boo was to chase him into hiding by shedding daylight on him. The stuff about not damaging plants and not approaching gravestones comes from the other ways boom boos surprise you in pumpkin hill, and from the pulsing, leering pumpkins and trees around the place.
For example the rock pumpkins that surround Pumpkin Hill, were they made or formed natually? For some reason I can imagine them filled with lots of wax candles which is why they glow.
Pumpkin Hill is one of my favourate places, especially around Halloween.
Also I figure they formed naturally, but the supernatural atmosphere and occult saturation of the place sort of… warped their formation. There are things like the pumpkin rocks though in real life, they're called hoodoos, and they are 100% natural.
